Wall Decals

A little while ago I was looking to redo a room in our house, but didn’t want to spend tons of money or spend hours and hours getting it done, so I took a look at wall decals.

If you’re anything like me than you want something that is going to look really good, but won’t send you to the poor house. Let’s consider a few options.

1. Hire An Artist – They will most likely do a great job in your room, but it will certainly set you back quite a few dollars. Not a great choice.
2. Paint The Designs Yourself – Unless you are an artist by trade this will takes you hours and hours to get it to where it is something you will be somewhat happy with. I’m not sure about you but I know I could spend tons of time and still not really be happy with the end result. Still not really a good choice.
3. Try Wall Decals – These are not the wall decals of 30 years ago. These wall decals are super thin and stick really close to the wall so unless you really inspect them, they actually look hand painted, they don’t cost a ton of money and they are easy to put up. Sounds like a possibility to me!

Are There Many Wall Decals To Choose From?

So, I went online and checked out some different wall decals. I found there are tons of designs to choose from. You can even do lettering in different styles and sizes. This meant I could get a style and size to match exactly what I was looking for. I ordered everything I needed and in just a few days they arrived. I opened the box and found they were even better than what I had expected. They had really good detail and the colors were bright and cheerful. Just what I was looking for.

I decided where I wanted to put each decal, and then I began the process. I couldn’t believe that in just under an hour I was actually done. I stood back and admired my work and I have to say it looked awesome. I mean really, for not that much money, very little time, my room had completely changed already. Over the next week I put up new pictures and curtains to match the new look.

Opinions Of My Wall Decals

The real icing on the cake came when I had some friends over a few weekends later. I showed them the new look of my room and they asked me who I had paint it. They were quite shocked when they found out I had ordered the wall decals and put them up myself. One of my girlfriends actually called her husband and had him come look at them that night. LOL. He wasnt’ too happy at first but once he learned he could install the wall decals himself and have a result like mine, he was really happy because he knew he didn’t have a ton of work in front of him.

So, if you are looking to redo a room in your home, apartment or college dorm room, you may want to consider wall decals. The wall decals won’t break your wallet, you’ll be amazed at how easy the wall decals go on, you can do all the work yourself and you won’t spend tons of time putting the wall decals on. Wall decals worked great for me and I bet they will for you too.
